Cable Car Tourists

Powell and Market Streets, a major tourist destination. On a sunny weekend, visitors will line up by the hundreds to get a ride on the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf. It wasn't so busy on this damp weekday, but there was still a wait. If you just want to ride a cable car, try the California Street line from the Financial District, a few blocks away.
